Robert Half is looking for an success driven intermediate accountant to work on an exciting contract opportunity with our client located in Cambridge ON.
The job responsibilities are: · Responsible for the day-to-day accounting and finance functions · Monitor banking transactions in multiple currencies · Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly general ledger close responsibilities for corporate entities, including the preparation of journal entries, AP/AR, account reconciliations and analysis, and bank reconciliation in SAGE 300 · Oversee financial data and transactions · Ensure completion of expenses in Concur · Monthly/quarterly/annual close process by performing account reconciliations, updating working papers and posting journal entries · Responsible for month-end adjusting entries and accruals, and allocations as necessary · Preparation of schedules for month-end review process
Qualifications: 5+ years experience with full cycle accounting Experience with Bank Reconciliations, Account Reconciliation, General Ledger, Journal Entries Ability to manage Month End Close tasks ERP system experience
