The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of IT Security Analyst. This job is full-time permanent.

Your challenges:
Identity & Access Management personnel are responsible for ensuring individuals can only access the resources that they are entitled to and ensures that accesses are revoked when required. This role also collaborates with Information Security in the design, planning and implementation of access management solutions and controls. Develops, integrates, and supports Identity and Access Management systems and services in our complex computing environment, ensuring system security throughout the organization. This includes oversight of access provisioning, privileged access management, and all identity management access and governance. Assists the organization in achieving IAM maturity including ongoing compliance with regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley Act.


Role and responsibilities:
Under direct supervision, holds responsibility for the lifecycle management of enterprise end user accounts in various enterprise applications and services such as Active Directory :

  • Provisions accounts for O365

  • Assists in the roll out of and reporting on Cyber Security course

  • Responsible for engaging with individuals and teams, business, IT and support functions to collect IAM governance lifecycle requirements and ensure a fluid user onboarding experience

  • Documents, analyzes, troubleshoots, and supports end user access levels and accounts, IAM processes and procedures, and workflow management to improve data quality and efficiency

  • Discuss, review and validate the security accesses, roles and profiles with Business Applications and Business Owners with a focus on Access Control requirements/validation

  • Reviews IAM processes (provisioning, de-provisioning, re- certifications, etc..) to ensure that they are aligned with the business policies and practices

  • Performs other Security duties as assigned or apparent


Your profile:

  • ACS degree in computer science or a related discipline

  • 3 years of experience in a similar position

  • Account administration experience, including Active Directory LDAP and IAM preferred

  • Experience recording, tracking and managing requests in an online ticket management system

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, business and functional representatives, and vendors / consulting partners

  • Excellent customer focus and the ability to manage customer expectations

  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in both official languages

  • Must exhibit security and confidentiality practices with systems that handle sensitive data

  • Critical and analytical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems

  • Ability to manage tasks and priorities in a context of fast-paced teamwork

  • Ability to approach tasks with a sense of urgency when required

  • Ability to follow policies and procedures
