CGI's growing management consulting team is recruiting for a Life Cycle Assessment position within the Sustainability and ESG practice.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Act as a life cycle analyst and carbon accounting expert on climate change related projects
- Model and analyze the life cycle of various products and services
- Ensure project management and personalized follow-up of client mandates
- Contribute to business development and the design of new services related to sustainable development and ESG factors
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Bachelor's or Master's degree (or any advanced degree) in engineering, environmental sciences, and/or sustainable development
- At least five years of experience in the climate change and sustainability fields, with projects conducted as a life cycle analyst;
- Relevant work experience including:
o Life cycle analyses of various products and services;
o Climate change projects, including quantification of greenhouse gases, setting GHG emission reduction targets and defining decarbonization strategies.
- Knowledge of standards and benchmarks dealing with life cycle assessment studies and life cycle inventory studies (ISO 14040)
- Knowledge of LCA modeling software (SimaPro, openLCA)
Other skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English
- Additional work experience, including
o implementation of approaches to reduce the environmental footprint of digital (responsible digital);
o Definition of sustainability strategies using reference frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD; GHG Protocol);
o Coaching on other aspects of ESG approaches, such as ESG data improvement and governance, ESG disclosure, ESG materiality analysis, change management and operationalization of ESG strategies.
- Engineering certification, including expertise in GHG accounting and life cycle assessment;
- Experience in business consulting services.
