Job Description

Job Description: Research program in top-rated fertility clinic setting seeks candidate to assume the administrative activities for its research group. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Director, Research Programs, work closely with the Medical Director and research group Directors, as well as all personnel involved in research (physicians, fellows, nurses, research staff and trainees). It is expected that the successful candidate will be involved in a diverse array of team-based clinical and basic science research activities as well as patient-related initiatives.

Salaryis commensurate with experience.

Requirements:

  • Motivated and self-driven BSc graduate
  • A minimum 2 years of experience in research office administration is required
  • Experience with clinical research coordination is preferred
  • Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, able to multi-task, take initiative, start and complete projects in a timely fashion
  • Knowledge of research and medical ethics-related processes
  • Must communicate effectively in written and spoken English
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented manner
  • Must be flexible and willing to function in a fast-paced and changing work environment and able to work with a variety of people with different backgrounds
  • Must be proficient in working with computers, MS Office (Outlook, Access, Word, Excel, Powerpoint), reference management software, and databases
  • Knowledge in basic accounting is an asset
  • Must be flexible with work hours

Responsibilities will include:

· Maintenance of principal investigator Common CV and academic activity reports

· Maintenance of research data and document management systems

· Coordination of purchase orders and invoice reconciliation, data entry

· Coordination of website and social media-related research updates

· Assist with organization of internal and external meetings

· Assist with SR&ED documentation, including reconciliation of invoices and data entry

· Creation and maintenance of Create’s annual research reports and monitoring of performance metrics

· Preparation and communication of internal and collaborator meeting agendas and minutes

· Assist with formatting and submission of internal documents, research ethics protocols and renewals, research proposals, manuscripts, reports and presentations

· Organization of travel arrangements for research conference attendance

· Assist as needed with data collection/entry for research projects and clinical databases

· Assist as needed with research staff on-boarding, training and orientation
