Job Description
Little Footprints is a children's shoe store that is well known for its attention to detail and exceptional customer service. Candidates must have excellent verbal communication and a professional and polite demeanor. The position will start with basic training in customer service, cash register and packing/sorting shoes. Once mastered, the representative will be trained in how to measure and fit shoes on babies and children, watching their walk and recommending those which fit best. The opportunity for a management position is available once these skills are acquired and pay will rise accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate correctly and clearly with staff and customers
- Efficient organization skills: sorting, documenting, attention to detail
- Proficiency in computer usage, including internet and social media
- Strong leadership and problem solving skills
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, kinesiology or working with children is an asset but not required
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries through various channels
- Accurately maintaining back room, new stock, and repackaging of shoes
- Processing customer orders through the cash register and preparing online orders
- Eventually measuring and advising customer on the best fit of shoes for their children
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
