These have ranged from small building renovations up to the most complex design-build projects or P3 initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Role:

• Reviewing and analyzing all tender documents, specifications, and drawings.
• Takeoffs/estimates for assigned jobs.
• Preparing quotations, prequalification, and tender packages for submission.
• Ordering Bid Bonds, Agreements to Bonds, Tender deposits, Letters of Reference, CCDC Documents
• Approaching subcontractor for pricing, reviewing the scope included/excluded against all tender documents.

Qualifications and Education:

• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in Construction Estimating
• Ability to read blueprints, plans and specifications
• Strong computer skills and proficient with MS Office products
• Excellent oral & written communication
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment
• Organized and time-efficient
• Professional, motivated to learn and a career-minded individual
• Quantity Surveyor Education is an asset
• Experience with Planswift Software is an asset
• College diploma or post-graduate certificate in industry relevant program is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
