Responsibilities of the Role:
- Reviewing and analyzing all tender documents, specifications, and drawings.
- Takeoffs/estimates for assigned jobs.
- Preparing quotations, prequalification, and tender packages for submission.
- Ordering Bid Bonds, Agreements to Bonds, Tender deposits, Letters of Reference, CCDC Documents
- Approaching subcontractor for pricing, reviewing the scope included/excluded against all tender documents.
Qualifications and Education:
- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in Construction Estimating
- Ability to read blueprints, plans and specifications
- Strong computer skills and proficient with MS Office products
- Excellent oral & written communication
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment
- Organized and time-efficient
- Professional, motivated to learn and a career-minded individual
- Quantity Surveyor Education is an asset
- Experience with Planswift Software is an asset
- College diploma or post-graduate certificate in industry relevant program is an asset
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
